Product Review: The best
This is a very good quality product. My baby's heartbeat is so much clearer on this doppler than the one my midwife uses and the amount of interference or white noise is so much less. I find that using normal KY jelly as a carrier gel to be the best. I could hear my baby's heartbeat at 11 weeks (that's when I got the doppler) and although it sometimes took a while to find it, it was always very clear. Don't mistake the sound of your own heartbeat beating through your placenta as the baby's heartbeat- the baby's heartbeat is much faster. I'm now 23 weeks and still listen to my baby's heartbeat every morning. It's comforting to me and my husband as she doesn't always move around that much so to be able to listen to her assures us that everything is still fine. A must have for every expecting mum especially first time mums a bit paranoid like me!
