Product Review: Great technology at a fantastic price, but can be awkward to use
I couldn't find a review of this unit anywhere on the Internet, so thought I'd better add one.

The first thing is that what the manufacturers specification doesn't mention (rather oddly) is that the camera is infrared with its own set of invisible IR LEDs to illuminate the room. In normal lighting it sends back a colour image, but when the lights are turned out it automatically switches to IR mode. The picture is clear and crisp with a reasonable refresh rate (guessing at ~5fps). Considering its wireless, I was surprised at how good it was. The sound quality is is a little muffled compared to by other BT monitor, but more than sensitive enough to pick up on every russell from the baby's room. Fortunately it comes with a sensitivity adjustment to the sound is only audible on the parent unit when it reaches a certain dB value.
